Often you come across a novel with a great story. But it is very difficult and rare to come across a novel that has a fantastic story and is so amazingly described that you can become an instant die heart fan of the author. “The first Trillionaire” by Sapna Jha. One of the luckiest things that can happen to you in life is to have a happy childhood. The First Trillionaire is the perfect amalgamation of memories. The book simply revolves around a village girl who has led an uneventful life in an Indian village but she herself is quite remarkable in her village. The beautiful description of her life events keeps you engrossed till the end. And the most interesting thing is the quality of the language use for the descriptions. You don’t need to sit constantly a dictionary beside you. The simple language, beautiful descriptions makes it a wonderful writing.
It tells the story of a moving time and how the life of the characters changes with time. In the course of reading, I get involved with different character described in the story. In the first part of the book, the author deals with a description of her background, her heritage, and about her village. The author also beautifully describes how she develops some strange yet beautiful feelings about a guy who is a foreigner and has recently joined her school. The boy is liked by all in the school because of his looks and stylish accent. This girl too likes the new boy. She is keen to take glances at him and wants to be friends with him. But she is always scared of herself in terms of her appearance and her English. But it is worth reading how that ordinary girl finally manages to be friends with her crush and what her reaction was when she came to know about the feelings that the boy that had for her.
The latter half is a bit more technical and has more of crime-mystery elements involving the lead character of the book. Finally, the book shows how an ordinary village girl joins a government bank even after not having proper schooling where she gets exposed to the glitterati of the world. It is at this point that she starts nurturing her dreams of becoming a trillionaire. Overall it was a good experience reading this book and it is a must read for all, specially entrepreneurs.
